Neil Bedeker is an up and coming award winning writer, director and editor based in Cape Town, South Africa. Shooting his first short film at 13, Neil has spent 16 years learning, and perfecting his craft, while discovering his ​evolving style.

Winning Best Film at the Cape Town 48 Hour Film Festival in 2026, Neil is on his way to racking up multiple nominations and film festival selections.
